There are ski lines, and there are SKI LINES. Of the later variety THE SPHINX, named after an Egyptian sculpture of a lion with a human head, in the Chugatch mountains of Alaska is on top of my list.
Romsdal Norway
I just got back from a week of Helly Hansen summer photo shoot in Romsdalen Norway, one of my all time favorite places. Romsdalen has some of the worlds biggest rock faces with the Trollwall being the biggest one with about a 1000m of vertical rock.

Just got the news that I got the cover of the september issue of Skiing Magazine US.
First Entry
My idea with this part of the new Volkl web site, is to share some of my ideas about training, avalanches safety, conditions and other stuff I find interesting and to share some of the things I have learnt through years in the mountains. I will start out this fall with a few entries about how I train to be ready for the winter. Through years of training I have learnt a lot from own experiences and also from training with other people from a wide variety of sports and backgrounds.
